I have just received my first Sheaffer fountain pen and I am delighted with it. I have been looking at Sheaffer pens for quite a long time now and knew that I would inevitably purchase one at some stage. I read all of the reviews and finally selected the Sheaffer Valor. Dropping into a London shop to handle the pen, feel it in my hand and be able to write with it sold me on it.

A search of the Internet soon found the best price for the pen, so I placed my order and sat back and waited – impatiently! It arrived yesterday and I have been lovingly trying it out ever since. It is a beautiful pen to use, good weight in the hand and the lovely looking nib (medium) produces a nice even flow of ink. cloud9.gif

Now you know what all the talk is about when people speak of the Sheaffer inlaid nib.

Nice to experience that nib, isn't it?!?!

I have a Valor inked up at the moment and agree that they are fantastic pens. Nicely smooth and wet they are characteristically Sheaffer. Why not have a look at the other Sheaffers with inlaid nibs such as the PFM's, Imperials, Legacy's and Targa's. They all write wonderfully and there are some fascinating filling systems too. smile.gif

I guess if you keep an eye on a Marketplace here on FPN, you get something. They appear from time to time.

Congratulations on your Valor! I'd love to have one of those too.
