If the nib ius smooth and the sac is good it's a great deal.
If the sac needs repalced it's fairly easy to do.
Congrats!
Now go find MORE!!!

The discription said the sac is good and it takes and holds ink well. here is a pic of the nip.

Hey, that was my auction! Don't worry, the pen is great. I was "thinning the herd" and had a really tough time deciding if I should keep this Copper SJ or another. The coloring on this one is beautiful! Please, if you have any issues with the pen, let me know.

As far as the nib goes, since it's a 9550, it's a firm extra fine, so hopefully you like fine nibs. If you don't know much about Esterbrook nibs, check out this page. It tells you what all of those numbers mean on Esterbrook nibs.

Enjoy!

That's a horrible price. As a fellow FPN member I will take one for the team and if you want to unload the pen I will send you $17.

Kidding of course.....about the horrible price part anyway wink.gif

That's a really good price and a nice pen. Congrats!!

johnboz - I was watching some of your other pens and started to bid on one but I had to take the money and got the wife some landscaping for Mothers Day glare.gif glare.gif .............again, just kidding as she has more than earned it.
