Hello there I have an old style paragon. And I am thinking of getting the new milord or paragon Arco but has any one got any pictures of size comparison between the two pens. i don’t like pens whit nibs that look small so a side by side comparison would be great.

I found this picture of some brown celluloid pens. The first three are Omas Arcos, in the old Paragon size, the new Milord, and the new Paragon. As you can see, the new Milord is bigger than the old Paragon. The new Paragon is a little too big, IMO, and comes with a metal section which I'm not nuts about. The new Milord has a celluloid section with a small metal trim ring. From a styling standpoint the old style Paragon is tough to beat, but you could make just about any pen design in Arco and it would be a stunner....

If I get around to it, I'll take some more pictures including uncapped.

Incidentally, for a size comparison the other pens are: Montegrappa Extra 1930, Tibaldi Iride, and Tibaldi Modello 60 in Havana Blue.

I took some pictures of the pens, capped, minus caps, and with cap posted. From the top: new style Paragon Arco, new style Milord Arco, old style Paragon Arco. You can see that if you post there's not a lot between them...

hay thanks for that that. i must say the nib on the new paragon looks small for the pen

I believe they're all the same size. The nibs, that is. I think the new Milord Arco is the one to get, if you're going to buy one of the new models. I like the celluloid section, but the little trim piece at the leading edge of the section is a nice touch. My well used Arco (on the bottom) is starting to stain a little bit there...
