Well I just recieved my 146 from another forum member and I have some questions about maintaining this pen.

1st: How would I clean the exterior of the pen, would renaissance wax be ok I use it on my other pens with no problems.

2nd: When carrying my pen in my pocket should I put it in a case or not.

3rd: Would it be ok to use aurora and private reserve inks in this pen.

4th: How do you clean the inside of the pen when it feels a little clogged or when changing color, never had a piston filled pen new thing for me.

I know its alot of questions but I would greatly love the feedback

1. I use wet paper tower to clean the exterior
2. I used to carry my pens around clip to my pocket, but now I use a carrying case. I think this is more of a personal preference
3. I use aurora and private reserve inks. Only 1 of my MB ever used MB ink.
4. after you fully flushed out the ink from the piston soak the nib in the water for 2 days with piston fill with water it works wonders.
