Deirdre
I just got this email from Atelier Gargoyle about an event tomorrow.

ATELIER GARGOYLE
INVITES YOU TO ATTEND
The 2008 PCBA Book Arts & Printers' Fair

Saturday, May 10
9 am till 4 pm
FREE admission*
Conference Center, Bldg A
Fort Mason
San Francisco

Directions & more info:
http://www.fortmason.org/calendar/2008/05/week2.shtml

The 34th Annual PCBA Book Arts & Printers' Fair is tomorrow! Last minute notice, but tomorrow will be a
lovely day to spend by the bay.... Please stop by our table and say hello. We'll be selling our seals,
sealing wax, italic fountain pens, and other wonderful & essential paraphernalia. We'll be giving sealing
wax demonstrations throughout the day, and Ward will give one or two demonstrations of making a pen out of
a bamboo reed (using a big knife).

*However, the parking (close to Bldg A) now costs money (but not much). You can still park in the outer lot
for free. See the Fort Mason website for parking & public transportation info:
http://www.fortmason.org/directions/index.shtml
http://www.fortmason.org/aboutus/parking.shtml

Vive la Plume!
Vive la Cire!

If you miss the event, they do carry Atelier Gargoyle sealing wax at Flax Art.

There's time to attend both this event and the Flax Art event tomorrow.

I was going to say, Deirdre... which would you choose?

I'm bringing someone to Flax, someone new to Pens. We must be very gentle around her so she doesn't scamper off back to her Pilot Gel pens, trembling. Simon gave her a piston-fill Reform (he handed several out, cos he's a Master Turner (he probably has already earned his toaster oven)), and she cherishes that pen! I think she's hooked, but we'll have to finesse it.

Also... ZEITGEIST!
Saevio
Dierdre! You beat me too it. I received the same email from Atelier Gargoyle. I'm so glad someone posted it!

Hopefully I'll be able to get to both events tomorrow myself... saddly I won't be able to head down until the afternoon, so time will be tight.
