Let's see your fav. or best pic of your pen, any setting you wish (one post per person). I'll randomly pic a post this weekend from the thread and send the poster a new bottle of J. Herbin Rouille D'Ancre ink. It's kind of a new Salmon color I guess.
NB: I will only ship to U.S. addresses. The postage is also on me and I don't want the hassle/expense of international shipping. Thanks for understanding. ;-)
See it here in action (not my post):

Any extra credit for matching the date on the Dollar Bill and the production date of the pen?

What's the deadline?
I'm really good at missing those, but I still like to know... heh.

Sort of an early Mother's Day photo in conjunction with this contest.

Click to view attachmentExperimenting with photos last weekend and took quite a few but none I cared for. Somehow a couple of these appeared in spite of my amateurish attempts. Win or lose, thought it turned out well and was worth sharing.

A few weeks ago, I walked all over Venice, Italy, with my husband, in search of the Lamy Lime. The pen had not yet arrived for distribution where we live, and we both enjoy our Lamy Safari pens. We had a grand time exploring many neighborhoods on foot. Finally, I saw the Lime in a storefront display, and I took a photo to memorialize the conclusion of our "treasure hunt." I'm not a photographer so it's not the finest photo--it's just a snapshot--but it's my favorite pen photo because of the memories associated with it. Because the trip was to celebrate with my husband our upcoming 10th anniversary, I will always associate my new Lamy Lime with a joyful occasion.

I know this competition has ended but I thought I'd share a pic with you all anyway.
This is an old photo I took several years ago. The pen is a cheap Lamy which is long since lost. I took this photo for aesthetic value rather than to display the pen so apologies for the messiness! (it's oil on my fingers, not ink)

Saltant,
That photo is the winner in my book. All work, no play.
