Greets FPNers,

Here's a few amateur pictures of a Wearever combo pen I picked up a while back on the 'Bay. Contrary to popular opinion (which probably is extinct with the recent nice apologias), older Wearevers are indeed very sweet pens with celluloid on the inexpensive - certainly not in quality - side. Hopefully I've photographed that here; apologies for slight blurs in the photo - my hands aren't too steady - hopefully the shake compensation has taken care of that. smile.gif

This pen actually has a bit of a story to it. Since the cap to it was originally missing a top, I sent it off to Lee (Firefyter-Emt) to custom-craft a new finial, which he did for a -very- reasonable price (in addition to trimming a section for an Estie J). Compared with another of the same combo pen in gray with the original finial intact (which I forgot to take a picture of headsmack.gif), this one has flatter and, as a result, somewhat sleeker, yet very classy IMO with sharp whites and blacks, along with the slight green aura that emanates from the layer interplay, which I hopefully captured in these photos. Thanks again to you, Firefyter-Emt, who also gave the pen a polish before being shipped back off to me! thumbup.gif

Here are the photos (click for 1600x1200 hi-res):
