A block away from Flax is Zeitgeist (at Valencia and Duboce), where they have beer and food. We can sit at outdoor tables and talk pens. Zeitgeist is sort of a punk biker bar, but there's all kinds of people who visit there, so don't be too intimidated. The benches can be a bit dusty, and the ground isn't paved, so be aware. That said, great burgers! So I figure we should meet up there at 3:30. I'll have a current copy of Stylus magazine to identify us.
I should add that, last time I visited, Zeitgeist didn't take credit cards. That may have changed, but be prepared to pay cash.
