Hello all. Got my eye on the "pebbled leather" 3 pen case in dark brown. Does anyone know if a relatively thick pen (say Namiki VP) slides in and out easily of the slots in this model. Dont want to have to squish anything in there. Thanks in advance.

I was looking at the Autocross cases also, and wondered if the pens might slip OUT of the case, as in falling out. There seems to be nothing to cover the caps of the pens when inserted into the case.

I was thinking the same thing. A larger pen such as the Townsend would probably fit snuggly, but I think that my Century Classic BP's would slide right out of there. Too bad though because they look like really nice cases.

There's an internal flap at the top. It doesn't show in the pictures because they normally show the pens lying on top of it.

I'd still have doubts about something as slim as the Century BPs though.

I've got one, and you are right about the flaps. Centuries would be loose, but the townsends fit perfectly. A VP IIRC, would fit, but be snug. I sold my VP a while back so I can't check. I'm quite sure it would fit though. I like the case a lot.
