Few hours ago the postwoman brought me a packet from Finland... And in it...

...was my first real Pelikan (not to mention my old Pelikano from school-times) - the blue striped M600...

It has an M nib, which is quite broad for me, but for some purposes will be OK... And after some time and after sparing some more money, I'll go for some Richard Binder's cursive italic...

What was my greatest surprise was the smoothness of the original nib... It is perhaps a little bit smoother than my Sailor - of which I thought as of the top of smoothnes...
The size is perfect for my hand when unposted - which I really like... When posted, it is really a very big pen in my eyes... I don't know, if I would be able to handle with any bigger pen...

First of all, congrats on the great purchase. Now if you're looking for soming really [size="3"][/size]big, then get (as well) a Pelikan M 1000 or the Toledo M 900. That'll put hair on your chest!
