Hello. I am another pen turner who has been lured in to collecting as well. I don't have anything to brag about owning yet. Won a couple of cheap Heros and a Cross Penatia on ebay in the past week. I know not impressive, but just wanted to get something in my hand to get rolling. I will be lurking and learning hopefully. My favorite fountain pen to write with is one of my own with a 14k nib. It is in an art show right now, I'll get it back in a couple of weeks.

I'm not at home and cannot figure out how to take one of my fountain pen pictures from another forum to show here. I'll post a couple when I get home. Maybe Old Griz will see this and take my pic from thepenshop and place it here for me. He is a computer guru.

What kind of materials do you use in making your pens?

I use wood, resins and deer antler to make my pens. I plan on taking some new pics soon and need to figure out how to post them here.

I use photobucket myself. Then it's ust a matter of using the link provided on photobucket pasted into the text window here - the one with the square brackets, that is.
