The shape is very similar to the Parker Duofold. Overall length is just under 5 1/2". Barrel diameter is just over 1/2". The material is Italian acrylic supplied originally to Shaeffer.
Your comments are welcome.
What kit is was this started from if it did. Really top notch

Thank you, Chris. It started out life as an El Grande. I turn them closed end, lose about 2/3 of the centre band, make the section out of the blank material and do likewise with the finial.
How do you machine the inside of the section as it seems to be round with a flat spot. I looked at this but could not think of a way to do this.
Chrsi
Thank you all for your kind words.
John: The rod stock came from Elliot Landes. He has no more of it, unfortunately. I have a few pieces, then it's done.
Chris: You are correct about the inside of the section, but I don't make that. I take the original section, chuck it up and turn it down as small as I can. Then, I drill out a piece of the rod stock, and glue it onto the turned-down section. Finally, I turn the new material to a size and shape resembling the original. It's quite resource intensive, and I've destroyed a few sections getting it right, but when it works, the end results are nice.
