I bought this eight years ago and have only used it for a 10 hour recording session. It's been sitting in my closet for years now, and I think that it is time to pass it on to someone who will use it.
This is a very, very good pre-amp which means that in connection with a great microphone, the dreaded background noise when recording is absolutely minimal. You can record the softest of sounds, and this pre-amp will deliver a clear recording. Focusrite is a company that produces top-notch studio equipment. This one has very puristic functions but I tell you it is much better than any second-tier mixer with lots of switches and less quality.
The pre-amp can be adapted to your voltage (110 and 220) by a switch, thus it can be used in North America and Europe. I do have the original cardboard box but it's in Germany. Other than that, the device comes with a German power plug (since I bought it in Germany) but any standard power plug will fit (see photography). If you don't have one, you can probably buy one on ebay for 5 bucks.
I have a couple of high quality wires with gold connections (connecting a mic to the pre-amp). Although not depicted in the pics, I will include them with the sale if the buyer needs them.
Switches at the front separately for each of the two mic sections: 48V (phantom for supplying condenser mics with electricity), 0 switch, 75Hz switch, mute switch.
The body looks like new. It's also sturdy full-metal that will withstand heavy use and the wear and tear that come with it.
