I am looking for a RHR Senior Duofold with large imprint in mint or near mint condition(not bandless model).What is the current retail rate?Thanks in advance

Sorry to have to disagree with Shangas. If you want a mint to near-mint RHR model with a large imprint with a cap band, you're going to pay at least $1000, or more likely higher. The combination that you're asking about was offered only for about a year, or perhaps a little less. The cap band wasn't offered on the seniors until late 1922 or early 1923, however the medium size imprint shows up in 1923 as well. Add in the ease of wear on hard rubber, and you're talking a pretty scarce animal that you're looking for. If you want to get away from the large imprint and go with a snall imprint in near-mint condition, then you're probably closer to Shangas's number.

I'm not a pricing expert, but in my experience, I'd say high hundreds is ballpark if you can shop around (John's estimate of a full thousand, I think, is certainly close for a really nice example) rather than low hundreds (I think we're well above the $700 range here) for that specific combination. A pen matching every single one of your criteria is going to be very hard to find. If you're willing to be more flexible in your conditions, the price will drop of course. So be prepared to pay big.

Duofolds are great pens, but their prices are inflated in the market today.
