A nice dark green color! Too bad it takes so long to dry... sad.gif

Thanks for your review. I like the color of Sherwood Green, but the slow drying time makes it utterly impractical for a left-handed overwriter like me.

With this ink, I'm glad to be a righty. This is one of my favorite green inks. Thanks for the review. smile.gif

very nice ink. Looks like your pen has quite some flex. Nice writing you have punch.

Thank you. The Taccia that I was using had a rather stiff nib. What may be giving the impression that I was using a flex nib is that I was dipping the Taccia into the ink well rather than filling the converter. I do this often with a pen that I want to write with, but don't particularly want to fill. This seems to give a different line than writing with a "filled" pen.

I love the color of Sherwood Green. smile.gif "Slow drying" doesn't bother me. It's "never drying" that I can't handle. And I've found that on some papers, Sherwood Green NEVER dries! After weeks or months it will still smear if you run a finger over it. As Punch mentioned, it does seem to work reasonably well on certain papers. But it's so tempermental, I seldom use it. sad.gif

I use both PR Spearmint and their Avacado. I have to cut either ink 50/50 with water in order to be considered useful in my journals. This formula dries very quickly and doesn't smear. I'd expect Sherwood Green to respond the same.

I draw up some ink in a syringe and then draw up some water. Using the syringe, I then fill either my converter or maybe even refill an old cartridge. No water touches the ink in the bottles.

Yes, the colors are just a tad bit lighter, but the shading is still wonderfully pronounced and the ink still flows smoothly over the paper.

Your mileage will vary of course... wink.gif
