This is another wonderful Diamine ink. I purchased it as a replacement for the much slower drying Private Reserve Sherwood Green, which I have included as a comparison. I also included a little Diamine Emerald, which is my favorite green so far.
The paper is Rhodia, and the Woodland Green shows ever so slightly bluer on my monitor than on the paper. The Sherwood Green and Emerald are dead on.

I completely agree with your review. I have been thinking of mixing the Woodland Green and Sherwood Green. This has the potential of being the best of both worlds and creating a super green with all the correct properties. I read here that someone has done it with Sherwood and Sheaffer Green.

I have a wet writing P51 with a P61 medium nib in it, and Woodland Green is loaded.
The ink looks a bit darker than the scan with my medium nib, and takes about 40 seconds before becoming reasonably smear proof.
The shading is excellent, from nearly black to a rich forest green. Almost the colour of Holly leaves.
Regards
Richard.
Edited for a tripe writing error.

Excellent review of a great green ink. Personally, I'm not a big fan of green inks, but this one I like (along with the new Kelly Green).

Excellent review. This is the ink I use in my Classic Legend Tourmaline Fire Prototype and have since I got the pen. I'm generally not a big green ink fan, but I do like this one.
