I recently obtained a Waterman C/F with a missing barrel tassie (well, not so much a tassie, but more like a metal end).

Since C/F pens are relatively rare, I was wondering if these metal ends are available to purchase somewhere. Likewise, if anyone ever disassembled a C/F barrel, I'd be interested in seeing what it looks like so I might make a substitute.
