Well, we all had our doubts and troubles with eBay or PayPal at one time or another. Here's to a great experience: I purchased 20 Apica CD-11 Journals (8.25x5.75") from Taylorsintherockies. My order arrived today and instead I received 20 of the CD-10 (5.75x4.25")
I emailed the seller and Molly answered instantly to apologize and shipped out my correct order. When I offered to return at least part of the small books, her answer was: "No, it's my policy for you to keep my mistakes. Perhaps you can give them to some friends and refer them to me if they want any more?"

So now I have 20 CD-10 and 20 CD-11 notebooks. Don't think I will live long enough to fill them, but I hate to be one short :-)

Thanks for letting me express my appreciation for good old fashioned customer care!

Thats nice to hear...ebay wouldn't run well or be as popular if it weren't for sellers like Taylorsintherockies...I've also had a pleasurable ebay experience so nice to hear yours was good as well.

Hi Inkypete. I was just wondering did Molly at taylorsintherockies ship your Apica in a USPS 'flat pack' for $US37 and, if so, how many of what size(s) could she fit in the pack?
Thanks

She did. It took about 7 days to arrive. I ordered 2 lots of the assorted pack (around $40ish each from memory) and a couple of odds and sods not included. Great service and I have quickly forgotten the extra I paid for the delivery. Apica are great. Just keep in mind they virtually all have soft covers, not much more robust than a traditional Aussie exercise book. Thats fine for me but some people may like more solid covers. the paper is fantastic with all my fountain pens.
I recommend Molly highly for service.
If you would like to see a sample message me.

Great service on the Apica for me too! And a little hint for people who want a more solid cover is to cut two pieces of cardboard the same size as the covers you can glue them down if you want then cover the whole thing in paper. Instant hardcover! Maybe Renaissance Arts might even do a leather cover for the Apica as so many people seem to be ordering them.

Adding just a note to Kurt's "instant hardcover" idea - Wallpaper remnants make interesting and durable paper covers to conceal the cardboard. Or if you are handy at rebinding, Markings by C.R. Gibson makes a journal that is the perfect size for the 6A10. The black cover is very sturdy and has an elastic band like a Moleskine. The model number is MJ80A-2 and I found one at a Staples store this week.

The Markings notebooks are also available at Wal-mart--I like their smooth leather covers, not so much the furry leather covers. Target also has a good selection of journals.

I love the wallpaper remnant idea! Thanks for passing it along.

+1 on great experience with this seller. When I fill up my current Apica, I'll be ordering more from her no question.
