Hi,

The pen is what it says on the tin, or baqrrel in this case, a Waterman 502, one of the 5xx series pens, 501, 502, 503, etc, the colour is one of the less common ones, most of these are seen in plain solid colours, the 502s were towards the bottom end of the range.

How old might this pen be?

Hi,

Sometime just post WW2 say 46-48ish, Made at Falcon Pen Works, Neasden, North London taken over by Watermans a couple of years earlier. Pens for several other brands were made there including Unique and Pitmans.
