So sorry to have been absent from the community. I see that is has been very busy and the spirit of the Ink and Nib still lives on and it seems to be getting stronger every day!

Well, life update. As some of you know, I came to San Antonio to start a new job. I wish I would have stayed in Chicago in the Hotel I was shot at. It has not gone too well for us here. I lost my job after 3 months of service. All systems were installed and engineered and 2 days before I was to be made permanent, they decided that I was not the guy that they wanted. Fired me on the spot. I have 4 Children and one on the way, and I have been having a hard time finding a new position here... Oh well. As they say, it can;t get worst, and I can't go down any further, so at best I have to start going up. I am optimistic, not letting things get to me. However, we are looking at a few more weeks of hard times. Luckly they did not contest my unemployment benefits, I do have to wait a while for them to start coming through. Well, as my wife and I have opted to do, we are just going to continue living one day at a time.

On a sad note. blush.gif I am having to part with some of my treasures to make Christmas for the kids. I will be posting most of my Esties for sale. I tried them out on eBay, but no good came out. So, it was my wife's idea to offer them to those who know. I'll be posting them up tonight. Any questions please advice.

Well, I am very happy to be here, I can not seem to get my password for the old ID, so I decided to make me a new one. Glad to be here, and I hope that I am still welcomed amongst all of you.

Regards,

Angelo Bedolla

Angelo.

I'd like to say it's good to hear from you but not under these conditions. sad.gif I'm so sorry things are so rough. That seems scummy to get a job that forces you to move a long distance than just decide "nah, not the guy we want." Unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me in this day and age.

I've been wondering where you were and am glad to know you and family are physically well. But very sad to hear about all the turmoil you're going through.

I wish you and your family the best and that things get better very soon.

Hi Angelo, I am sorry to hear about your situation your in. Sadly, I am an unemployed bum right now myself, and wonder where all the jobs are? Especially, when the everyone raves about how good the economy is doing right now. However, keep your chin up and best wishes for you and your family!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Angelo!

Wow, long time no hear! You are more than welcome back here! smile.gif
I took a break from FPN just before the hotel front desk incident but was relieved to hear that you are alright. Sorry to hear about the job; what a lousy way for a company to treat someone angry.gif but glad to hear that you and your family are keeping your chins up. I am sure something will come along (I was quite worried about finding suitable work this summer...but I did find it!).

Best wishes and good luck,
~Maja

Angelo-

Glad to hear from you, albeit under such rough circumstances. I just pm'd you a day or two ago to see how you were doing. I think of you whenever I see the lovely ink container you gave me on my visit to Chicago. Sorry to see the esterbrook collection is up for sale.

You'll find a good position soon I'm sure, your persistence will aid you.

Hop on over to the Esterbrook forum when you have time and we can talk about some of those great pens. Might help take your mind off of things.

Wishing you and the family the best-
Brian
