A lot of folks send me messages asking how to properly fill the Wahl-Eversharp Plunger Filler (Vacuum fill) pens. So here is the factory instructions sheet for the Doric Plunger Fill Pens

Hi Syd,

Thanks for sharing this!

Now, where are steps ten through thirteen? (aka: the secrets to making a W/E plunger fill work if it stops working!).

I'm surprised that the company advocated the process in step 9 (removing the section and vigorously flushing the barrel). Old instructions are always fascinating and educational.

Cheers,
Tom

Tom, These instructions were not intended for the consumer. They were written for authorized Wahl Eversharp Pen Dealers and Repair Stations as reference material to help their customers. There was another filling instructions mini-folded sheet that came with the pens for consumers to use. Would you all like to have that posted too?

Oh, of course... I should have realized that there were far too many numbers, arrows, and interesting part names ("stuffing box bushing") for consumer distribution. I'd still like to see the next page... rolleyes.gif

I'd like to see the consumer version of the instructions too (shows you how many NOS W/E rod fillers I own).

Thanks again for this...

Cheers,
Tom
