Dave

p.s. I will repost these when I figure out how to do it from the server I have them stored on. I just wanted to get them up real quick.

Wonderful looking pen Dave! If you want a sample of that Noodlers Dragon Napalm just let me know. I think it would be a nice match for that pen!

Is that a twist piston filler or a vac / button filler?

That's great, Dave! I'm so happy for you - it's beautiful.

Thanks. It really is a sweet pen. The filling system is called an eye dropper filling system. Go into FP reviews area and look for a discussion by "the noble savage" on it. And I'd love to have a sample of that ink.

Blessings,
Dave

This pen writes as perfect as a pen can write IMHO. It's a fine nib that is buttery smooth with excellent ink flow. Of course, the ID-filler allows you to have some control over the flow--which is nice. When I first decided I wanted a Mikado, I was a bit intimidated by some of the reviews on it discussing its size. However, I had also heard that (sometimes) larger pens can be more comfortable to write with during long writing sessions. I have small hands for a guy, but I stepped out anyway and bought this big pen. In spite of its size, it actually fits like a glove in my hand. I do a ton of writing, and after many hours of writing with it already today, it feels just as comfortable as ever. I'm super happy. My only regret is my other pens may end up sitting on the bench for quite awhile.
