I'm on a rampage for green, purple and brown inks at the moment. It took me a while to get used to this ink but now that I have, I really, really like it. The scanner is showing it to be darker than it is. It looks a lot more brown than it actually is.

R & K and Diamine are fast shaping up to be brands that I will turn to for coloured inks and non-archival correspondence.

Very interesting color Artful. I might have to check this one out when I place another order.

Thanks for the review, especially of an ink from a company that I haven't heard much of.

Rohrer & Klingner make great ink. I have almost every colour and I love each one, but Alt-Goldgrün is my favourite... smile.gif

Very interesting green, original. The handwritten review is great. Thanks for sharing.

So not the color I was expecting somehow (even having seen the Pendemonium swash).

I think that would look lovely in a white tortoise Pelikan M400.

Thanks for the review. Very helpful, I have been thinking about getting this ink for a while and it has now moved to the top of my must get list.

Exactly my thought... I use Stipula Verde Muschiato and Conway Stewart Dark Green in my M400 Tortoise (when I'm in the mood to match ink to the pen). This one reminds me of Stipula Verde Muschiato -- perhaps a lighter version of it.

Thanks for the review, Artful Lounger! smile.gif

Mine is on it's way to me from the writing desk in England, can't wait! I was expecting the colour to be _a lot_ lighter.

Best regards,

Jarno.

No worries ) I've ben wanting to try my hand at reviews. Meanwhile, you're using one of the inks I am eyeing myself i.e. the Stipula Verde Muschiato. That's a brand I've not tried yet. Looking forward to buying that eventually. ^^

Just this colour alone is getting me hooked on the brand. I'm eyeing the purples/violets next but I need to spare my wallet. unsure.gif

that green ink is very interesting, it is a very subtle and sober color and me likey a lot. Thanks for the review.
