Full Version: Looking for my first Pelikan

After my teacher lending me his m400, I've decided to get a Pelikan to come with me to college. I'll only be looking for a 2xx level pen, hopefully finding a demo version still available. Unfortunately, I can't find any so far, even at Peartreepens.

I'll be going to the DC pen show in August (My first!!!) and I am wondering if I should wait to buy a Pelikan then, or if I should just buy one now. Your opinions?

First of all, you've made a good choice purchasing a Pelikan. I'm in college and I've been using my Pelikan M200 in class a lot. I believe that Fahrney's Pens (no affiliation) still carries the M205 demonstrator. I was able to get one with a fine nib a little over a month ago. I've never been to the DC pen show, but I've heard good things.

I don't know about demonstrators, but Richard Binder (http://richardspens.com) sells M200's and M215's.

I'm looking to buy my first Pelikan as well but we'll see, Pilot has some pens in its line that quite strike my fancy smile.gif

You can't go wrong with the M2xx demos. I've a a couple of them and prefer these babies to my other more upscale pens. You can try www.pengallery.com. (no affiliation, etc). They did have some in stock the last time I looked.

You're going to have so much fun with your M2xx!
Have Fun
Don't forget the Citroen Pers M200 Version is still available in fine & medium

Couldn't agree more on the choice of Pelikan. Nibs.com says they have one red m200 demonstrator left. I'm sure this will be the first of a fine collection.
