I've got an icicle that's leaking ink from the base of the nib onto the rim of the section, and sometimes dumping a nice wad of ink into the cap. I believe the nib is screwed in tight enough. Any advice? The sac seems to be okay, but should I change it?

Sounds like a pinhole in the sac, that could cause what you are describing.

Yes . Sounds like either a small hole in the sac or maybe an incomplete seal between the sac and the "nipple" at the end of the section.
