I saw this on Ebay and I think it's interesting:



The pen description says: "It has the # 4521/2 LEC on the end of the Pen. The point is marked Ideal and the pen filler is also marked this. The clip is marked Ideal and also Clip Cap."

Can anybody say if the pen is a genuine Waterman's or a 452 1/2 barrel with a 52 1/2 cap?

Could be a FrankenWaterman. I have an orange(cap) & black(barrel) one.

I think it is a Waterman Frankenpen - 452 1/2 body with 52 1/2 cap. I don't think that Waterman usually did an overlay with plain cap, but I am no expert. If David Nishimura would chime in . . .
