I have tried one several times over the years at my local most excellent pen store, Artlite. They are visually stunning. However, they are too slight for my hand... and the price. Oh, the price! I have paid more for a pen. But for anything approaching even a forth the price of a Serenite, I have to really want it and it has to feel just right in my hand. I will continue to admire them from afar.

My wife has a blue Serenity (purchased from Artlite here in Atlanta) and she loves it. The nib is very smooth, the color is outstanding and it's a great writer. What else is neat is that you can stand it on it's end, not something that every pen can do. It's true what Klaatu said about it being "slight"...it's thin and I think in general, it appeals more to women than men. If you get one, I'd recommend using the Waterman cartridges instead of the converter because they hold more ink.
