I just put some vintage Skrip Washable Blue in my first restored Esterbrook J (copper color). Really it just needed a new sac and a really good polishing.
It has a non-Esterbrook nib, though. It says Veri-Smooth. It's obviously a fine, which is fine with me. Took a couple of lines of writing to get the ink flowing good, but now it writes nicely. That blue is pretty light, though.
I have a 9460 Manifold Medium and a 9461 Manifold Fine coming. I'm going to find which of those I like and put it on this pen.
Fill it with a black and it's my first "carry" FP. I'm going to miss the Papermate I've been carrying for about twelve years, though.
