I wonder what is the nib in the pen on the right in the middle? It definitely isn't Vector nib.

Hahahahaha I love it! Thank you really, these are super!

My husband and I have about 20 Vectors between the two of us -- mostly black, but also several steel, one blue and one red. We play these games too, arranging them in patterns on our desks, etc. Unfortunately I am not in our home in Boston now, so I cannot reciprocate with a Vector photo. They all stayed behind.

The Vectors were my first fountain pens. I used them almost exclusively from 2001 until 2006 -- with cartridges, and quite happily before I knew about such things as converters and XXF nibs.

If I had lots of money, I would send a dozen or so of my Vectors to Richard Binder and convert them all to .45mm stubs!

It would also be great to commission black resin Vectors with a true XF two-tone gold nib...
or silver overlay Vectors...
Urushi and Maki-e Vectors...

any interest?

Nice pics. I owned several vectors about 15 years ago and they were pretty good writers. Not outstanding but decent and reliable. I had one flighter that was really smooth. Your pics bring back fond memories :-)

Thank you. Well, it's just a Vector, nothing big to cry about. However I wouldn't like to lose mine (black plastic) as it was my first "real" fountain pen..

Oh how I used to love my Parker Vectors ....

My first one was a red one .... and I used it with cartridges

In fact, I still have that red Parker Vector .... still writes great (for a Parker Vector, lol)

No...but in all seriousness....these are pretty reliable pens, and I think great for someone on a budget

They have been around for so many years ! They deserve a huge applause !!! clap1.gif

Very creative with the Parker Vector collection by the way ! Love the pics ! smile.gif
