Six months ago I purchased a new Taccia Portuguese: Cracked Ice, stainless steel medium IPG nib. The pen is 4-3/16" long uncapped, 5-1/8" posted. With the cap screwed down it is 4-1/2 inches long.

The cool thing about this pen is that the cap threads are at the end of the section, right at the base of the nib and away from my knuckles. The nib is smooth and runs toward the wet end of things. Alas, I don't like to write with the cap posted, so the pen is too short for my hand. I also prefer heavier pens, and at 22 grams this pen is on the light side for me. I still have the original box and papers.

I wanted this to be an everyday writer but, for the reasons outlined above, it has not been used that much and is in great condition.

I'd like to trade this pen for 3-4 mostly-full (75%+) bottles of ink.

Right now I have:

PR Lake Placid Blue
PR American Blue
PR Velvet Black
PR Spearmint
PR Avocado
PR Burgundy Mist
Quink Black
Quink Blue/Black
Pelikan Royal Blue

I'd love to try red, purple, brown, sepia, gray, or orange inks. Noodlers' inks, blacks, or more exotic shades of blue would also be good.

Interested? PM me. I'm also open to pen trades.

Sincerely,

Yumbo

Hi Yumbo, I have a bottle of Rohrer and Klinger Sepia (one converter used) a bottle of Noodler's 2007 Brahmin Blue (2 converters used) and a bottle of Noodler's Napalm (one converter used)
I bought a Blue Portuguese and liked it, and would like the Cracked Ice. I think I bought mine at isellpens on sale for about $35, which was a good deal.
Let me know what you think.

My Supervising Instructor used to read Archy and Mehitabel to her English classes back in the 60's!! I recognize the typewriter.
Thanks for the memories......I'll think of that as I write with the Taccia. Or maybe the Sonnets of the Portuguese!

Archy and Mehitabel is always a good read when one needs a little cheer.
