Full Version: M910 question

According to the website, the M910 has a engraving 'incised into a sleeve of solid sterling.' On the same page it says the pen has a 'barrel of 925 Sterling.'

My question: Is it a sleeve of sterling over some other kind of material, or is the barrel made of a solid tube of sterling silver.

This is my dream pen, by the way, so be gentle.

Will

PS: how heavy is the 910?

There is a band, sleeve...or "binde" of silver that fits over the transparent barrel.
The details on the band are hand engraved, and it is rhodium plated to prevent tarnish.

In my opinion, the sleeve adds just the right amount of weight to an M800 body.

A very beautiful piece.
