Umm...actually, I just got myself a Pinocchio LE at a real bargain price. Love the feel and weight of the pen.
But comparing it with my Suprema Nuda's nib, it is actually slightly smaller than the Suprema's 14k nib. The Pinocchio came in the 18k two toned nib. Of course, it writes just as great. Just smaller.
I did try to screw the nib out but it was so tightly fitted into the Pinocchio. I did not want to break the pen trying.
Not really sure when the Pinocchio was made though. Wasn't it around 2003? It has the large piston/converter which the Etruria Ocean Blue has.

Does anyone know if the nib fitted on the limited edition Stipula Pinocchio friction fit or unscrewable?
Even with the screw-in nib/feed assemblies the nib and feed are friction fitted in the collar, so it is always yes to friction fit.
I am not sure whether the nib/feed assembly can be screwed out of a Pinocchio LE, but if it is made in or after 2004 this is very likely. They are equipped with the large Stip nibs, so my guess would be yes, they can be screwed out.
Maybe somebody who owns a Pinocchio can answer the question?
