Congratulations Eagle, what an exceptional stunning pen !
The pattern is so beautiful, never seen anything like it.
I'm surely interested to learn how you came to this impressing result, would like to learn from the master !

I'm afraid the pen is definitely not to my personal taste.

The workmanship and execution is, however, obviously wonderful.
The finish is just what we are used to from you - spot on! smile.gif

Congrats,

Nice!
Ever thought of making a closed-end pen out of that material?

Nice!
Ever thought of making a closed-end pen out of that material?

Yes but I got snapped back into reality.
The blank is not a "material" but a series of inlays that I made in a solid piece of ebony.
The original piece of ebony for all intense and purposes is removed leaving only "specks" of diamonds in the pattern.
I considered myself lucky to have had it survive drilling let alone remain intact while turning.
A closed end might be in the future but I have too many other ideas I am working on.

I'm impressed. The only thing that's not to my personal taste is the black, but if it were blue....
