Dear Wahl-Eversharp Forum Folks,

As learned while in pursuit of my undergraduate degree, (Cultural Anthropology - who knew?), celebrations are important as they help to more completely separate the ordinary from the special times in our lives. The Wahl-Eversharp forum has received its 300th post! The Forum started on November 26 2006, so it is 16 months old and from what I hear for such a non-controversial brand as Wahl-Eversharp is, that is a pretty good showing. Not that statistics matter so much, or that competition between forums should even take place, but I notice that the Cross Forum is about 10 posts more than the Wahl-Eversharp forum, began in May 2005. At the outset many voices were heard asking "Why a Wahl-Eversharp Forum" or "Why set up a Wahl-Eversharp Forum when there was no Mont Blanc forum? There are a lot of people more interested in Mont Blanc than Wahl-Eversharp". Very true and so we have a Mont Black Forum now too!

Anyway I just wanted to thank all the posters old and new who have taken the time to submit their new posts on many very interesting topics over the past 16 months. There are some very knowledgeable Wahl-Eversharp folks on this list, and many newcomers who can learn form the best and sub,it their questions as well as offer some new information that may not have been known before. I don't want to name names, because that there is the danger someone might be left out, but you all know who you are.

And a special thanks to all for the courteous and mature way you all have handled your posts on this forum. I think it is one of the most amiable and respectful of Lists and Forums that I know about, and that makes it a comfortable place to post and to see replies! And in so doing, you have made my job as Mod all the easier! Thanks!

Just my candid thoughts on our 300th Post Milestone. So we can celebrate that right? Sure Right!
