The manufacturer of this ink , fountain pens, BP, RP and markers has been around since 1942 in Spain. It specialized in very good price-quality products. Unfortunatedly is closing down, so time to buy for you collectors!.

Royal Blue is a nice ink on the paler side of the similar Waterman Florida Blue. Writes nicely in all Fpn's I have tried it. The color is discreet, for everyday use, not a pop-eye one, but really pleasant to the sight. Homely, student like blue. Lovely shading behaviour.
The fluidity is very similar to the Pelikan inks, a bit on the dry side, but without any flow problems. Dries quite fast, rubbing a finger on the ink after 2 seconds shows no smearing at all. 1 second, very slight one.
This ink has a curious - and so far unique, or at least that I know- characteristic; under a "warm" source of light, i.e., like a common incandescent light bulb, the color appears purple!.
If the source of light is white or blue, color does not change, or very slightly.

Is a pity to see this ink, and very specially, the permanent black and the erasable pink go.
