I can't post a picture, I'm afraid, as I don't have a scanner, but I managed to track down a bottle of the MB Sepia in a little shop in Bristol this afternoon. Here are my first impressions: to my eye, it's very similar to the J. Herbin Terre de Feu, in that it has a terracotta tint to it. It's nothing at all like the orange-toned Diamine Sepia or Sheaffer Brown, say, and it's not *too* much lighter than Waterman Havana. I'll have to try it out properly before I make a final decision, but I have to say that I'm initially a little disappointed with its familiarity. I was hoping for something a bit different.

Thanks for the preliminary impressions Neil.
I'd be interested in your final eval.
The only one of the other inks you mentioned that I have and love is
the Havana.

J
