Does anyone know anything about Styphen inks as I just bought something like 128 off ebay and just wanted to know if they were any good.

I'm guessing that they're just a cheap, out of the way brand though?
Deirdre
Stypen is a division of Bic. They used to be an independent French company.

Thanks Deirdre. Also do bic still make catridge inks?
Arthur
just looking at your spelling, Stephens inks are a well known UK brand, particularly for the school 2 pint bottle, although I thought that they only made drawing ink now, might be wrong. The old ink bottles often turn up on ebay

128 bottles? Wow! How much in each bottle? I suppose you're not going to use it all yourself, right?

Since the auction is over can you point us to the auction page? A photograph of the ink bottles will problably help to identify the ink better.

I'm guessing (hoping) that he means 128 cartridges.... that many bottles would cost a lot to ship tongue.gif

Yes I was meaning catridges but bottles would be fine too =). Also Arthur my spelling was incorrect however it wasn't the brand you listed and it is spelt Stypen.

Oh well, cartridges. Not nearly as exciting a prospect. Stypen is the company that BIC bought in the last couple of years. The auction page is vapor now.
