Part of a limited edition of 1642 pieces to celebrate the life of legendary English mathematician and astronomer Sir Isaac Newton (born 1642), the Delta Isaac Newton 1K Special Fountain pen in black resin not only has the clip and rings on cap and on body in sterling silver 925‰, but also a cabochon sapphire on the top of the cap!

Moreover this particular pen uses the traditional lever-filler, and posts the cap superbly due to having a secondary cap thread on the end of the barrel.

This pen has been very lightly used and sports a smooth and wet BB 18Kt gold nib whose only slight issue is an occasional tendency for the tines to click, which could be adjusted if need be.

Supplied with box (a cardboard tube, the top of which is damaged), papers and black velvet wrap.
