Hi all,
I'm getting a used M200 translucent pen that I want to clean completely, inside and out, before I ink it for the 1st time.
Call me weird, but I just want to clean it completely and thoroughly before use. I figure if i have any issues I need to take care of with the pen, at least I will have done everything I can to eliminate any variables.
The pen is in great shape, as far as I can tell. I just want to do my bit when I get it.
Suggestions and advice??

A user should never disassemble a piston fill pen like a Pelikan more than to unscrew the nib from the section. Then the nib can be soaked to really get it clean and it makes getting the inside of the pen flushed our easier. If there is staining in the pen that won't come out by flushing or soaking I've seen people use tiny tiny bottle washing style brushes to scrub a little. If the piston is too stiff you can also use some pure silicone grease and a toothpic to get a very tiny amount in the piston stroke area and then run the piston in and out a couple of times.
