Thought this was cool...it's a Conklin "50,000-Word Speller" on eBay.

That book has no connection with the Conklin pen company. It was originally published no later than 1906, and there is a suspicious absence of indication in the eBay listing of the copyright date of the example offered.

Conklin is not an uncommon name, and you can find quite a few listings of authors, artists, athletes, and musicians named Conklin -- not to mention plenty of companies having nothing to do with pens.
