When was the Ecridor fountain pen first made? I,ve read that 1000 us soldiers recieved Ecridors as gifts in 1947 as presents after their service but I didnt say what type of pen it was.
I recently bought an Ecridor and I like it very well although I´m a little unused to the slender body.
I have an Ecridor Retro FP and Pencil set. I love them both and use them constantly. The FP is F nib, and I had it reground to a true XF. The Ecridor is my most reliable fountain pen. It will write on any kind of paper, whether smooth, textured, expensive or cheap, and with any ink. Even the inks that absolutely do not flow in any of my other pens are fine in this pen.
This timeline below is from the caran d'Ache history website.
