Full Version: Cap dented (Cross Century)

I recently found a Cross Century gold-filled FP while rummaging through my basement. The overall condition of the pen appears to be good but the cap is dented around the clip. Attempting to repair it will most likely be too involving if not impossible. I was looking on the Cross website and noticed that they still make the Cross Century in ballpoint. Would this pen's cap fit on my pen? Furthermore, would Cross sell me the cap alone? Perhaps there is another solution that I've overlooked. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

I believe the ballpoint and FP models differed in diameter; the FP being larger.
You might troll e-bay and find a parts-quality model ... or post a WTB add on FPN or on the Pentrace greenboard.
