Hi, I got these just a couple of weeks ago. I believe they are a Crest Tuckaway set. The pen has held ink for a week and writes very well, it is a reservoir, but the screwring that holds the cap is loose and the cap does not stay screwed on.It does still fit in the writing position. I have not tried the pencil. This pen is just too small for my big paw to use comfortably. I am looking for a vintage Sheaffer that writes, I would really like the laminated style like these, any color is good. Or a fair trade for another writer.....

I'm interested in your set.
I colllect only Sheaffers and also repair them. I like to write with them, not only collecting them.
I'm particularly interested in Triumph nibs and piston fillers.
I think I have a couple of 1250 wide bands (green and brown perhaps) and also some others to swap.
For the green one I should also have the matching pencil.
