I have two OS black Balances. Both are wonderful, smooth writers, with fine to medium nibs. Both are imperfect, but still solid pens with no cracks or other major damage. I want to keep one and sell one, so I'll describe each. I can switch caps, if you want to mix and match for your almost ideal pen...$108 (this month's electric bill), plus $5 shipping in the US and $12 elsewhere.

John Telling's pen. Name engraved on the barrel, two tone nib.
Not John Telling's pen, no name on the barrel, monotone nib.

Cap one, ambered white dot, brassing to cap ring (about 25%, I'd say).
Cap two, no brassing (a little lightness under magnification) and the white dot is nice and bright, but there is a scrach near the top of the clip.

At the moment, John Telling's pen sports the brighter white dot/but there's a scratch cap, but the caps fit well on both pens, so I'm happy to swap them.

Again, I'd like to keep one whole pen and sell one whole pen, your choice which!
