Some friends of my parents were kind enough to find some of their parents' fountain pens and they handed me some really nice pens over the weekend including a nice black Doric.

It's a vacuum fill and likely requires a restoration.

However, I'm seeing alot of stuff not normally found on your typical Sheaffer vacufill (adjustable nibs, ink shutoffs). So are the trusted Doric restorers the same folks I trust to perform an excellent Sheaffer vacufill restoration (Richard, Ron Zorn, Sherrell)?

The people that you mention are the ones that I would go to if I didn't do them myself. smile.gif

I believe that Syd (the Wahlnut) has been known to do a Doric restoration or two...
