Upfront with the issues that this pen has:
1. While polishing the pen barrel, I was a bit overzealous and accidentally rubbed against the clip until the silvery top section became a bit loose. I then tried pull the top section apart slowly. It is a clean parting and I re-glued it with epoxy glue on the pen barrel. I would describe the reglueing work as well done (not trying to sound boastful), as the gap between the top section and the barrel is tight like before it became loose, and the section flush well with the barrel. I have used the pen for a couple of weeks to see if the top section can withstand normal usage. I have also tried to 'pull' the section to test how well the section is glued to the barrel. So far, it is still in one piece.
2. There was a scratch near the section where the clip protrudes. I have tried to polish the scratch, but at the same time, this has sort of 'smoothen' the edges around the circumference. Not too obvious to see the smoothened location because the pen is in dark green. I tried to show this in some photos.
3. At the spot underneath the end of the clip, there is an indentation (possible from a knock) which is partially covered up by the clip. There is no hole as a result of the indentation. When I took off the top section, I have polished the dent to 'smoothen' it. This is shown in one of the photos.
4. The nib, which is the original Namiki Fine nib, has been adjusted by me,as one of the tinges was a bit bent. You can tell the nib was readjusted if you look closer, but the nib writes smoothly and wetly.
Being an old pen, there are a few locations with some light scratches which I have polished to minimize them. The gloss on this pen is still good though.
Because of the above issues, I would like to sell or trade this pen for $65 including first class shipping. I am also looking into trading with a modern VP, with payment to top up any deficit in the trade (I like heavier pens). I am also looking for a Sheaffer Prelude Rainbow FP. Please don't get offended if you feel my price is on the high side. I am open to offers, and I will wait till tomorrow night (March 18) before I decide whether I want to sell or trade, provided I get offers. So this is not a First-PM-will-get-the-pen trade or sale. I will sell the pen on eBay if nothing comes out of this.

Edited to add: If the top section came off a week (without purposely subjecting to destructive testing), I will refund fully or return the traded pen. But I will not pay for the returned shipping.
