Hey Everyone!

If anyone has been to my website lately, you might have noticed a change.

Effective immediately, Pencraft will be known as The Edison Pen Company.

A couple of reasons...

When I first started my business, I was doing wooden pens from kits. The name Pencraft fit what I was doing perfectly.

However, my pens have gone being the 'craft show' stage, and they are more along the likes of other high-end penmakers.

Because of this, I really feel that Pencraft is no longer a good descriptor of what I do and what my business is all about.

"Pencraft" probably wasn't hurting me, but it wasn't helping. I think that "The Edison Pen Company" does more justice to my pens and designs.

The new web address will be Edisonpen.com

However, pencraftonline.com will still redirect you to Edisonpen.com, so no need to change bookmarks.

I would like to ask everyone for their understanding if there is any confusion around this change.

Nothing will change except for the name. The same pens, the same Brian making them, and the same service!

If you would like to read more about this change, you can visit....

Thanks.

Hm, no offense but isn't someone else sitting on that TM? I googled and came up with some ballpoints(!?).

The only Edison that I'm aware of is a company from back in the 20's.

Do you have a link?

I searched the Trademark Electronic Search System, and found nothing.

I found one -- Edison Pen

I was aware of that pen line, but there's nothing listed in the trademark achives for the Edison Pen Company, or Edison Pens.

I think that I'm OK with my new name....

Any legal types out there?
