Time to delurk...

My name is Alastair and I'm in the UK. Currently in North Wales though heading back to Cambridge in a few months.

Started using fountain pens in Junior school (8ish years old...none of this too dangerous for under 14's then) and have continued to use them since, partially as it's a much more tactile experience than with a BP, partially because my handwriting is more legible.

Anyway, about a year ago I got a Pelikan 250 and it's kind of gone from there.

And if you are interested, currenly inked up in my shirt pocket are:
Waterman Carene - Noodler's black
VP - Noodler's black
Pelikan 250 - Diamine indigo
Cross Apogee - Diamine Monaco Red

Watch out for a review of the Apogee as soon as I get round to taking some photos.

Glad you de-lurked Alastair! Welcome to the place that's guaranteed to feed your addiction! Speaking of feeding addictions, can't wait to see the review of your Apogee. What a way to make an introduction laugh.gif ! See you around the boards!

PS If you sense that your Apogee is getting down in the dumps and wants a more moderate climate, just PM me and I'll send you my address. Eastern NC would suit it just fine, I'm sure laugh.gif laugh.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif .

Hi Alastair and welcome to FPN! biggrin.gif

It was a Pelikan that got me back into using fountain pens about 3 years ago...but mine was an M200.

Looking forward to seeing a review of the Apogee! smile.gif
