Handwritten Review

Boring for sure. Reminds me too much of Pelikan Brilliant-Gruen. Too light. sad.gif

This color reminds me of Lamy Green, but with more shading. It's certainly not a deep green like e.g., Private Reserve Sherwood Green.

It's more like Spearmint, but not quite as bright--more yellow than Waterman's, Sheaffers, and Pelikan. I wouldn't say this ink is "light"--at least that's not my perception--as one poster commented, who based this comment on the scan. The scan doesn't look like my Sailor Green, but no scans match up on my monitor.

Very light green. Different. Thanks for reviewing it.

This is different from what I had in mind. I thought it would be much darker. I'm disappointed because I really like Sailor Jentle Inks, and I had thought about getting the green. Thanks for the review.

It's so Jentle, almost invisible.

You're right, it is hard being green.

Tried sailor black and it was lacking color consistency too aside the sailor grey which is their best ink I would not consider buying any other colored ink from them.

Hum... I love Sailor Red Brown and Yellow Orange - I had also heard the Green was a very nice ink indeed... how strange.

Green is my favourite colour though... I'll still get a bottle and see for myself. smile.gif

Jentle green is almost fluorescent through my Tibaldi Iride, with good flow that still produces interesting shading. Not boring at all. Indeed, I've just ordered some more.

i have to admit i found it boring at first. I used it with my m1000 medium nib and i had the same results...didnt like it at all.

however, i then used it in my Yard-o-led retro which is also a medium nib, but much finer than the m1000, and the colour that came out of that one was quite nice.

its not the best green, i agree...but i think on thinner nib, which is still a wet writter then the ink comes out looking much better.

on a side note...it also looks great inside a M800 demo...the green in the clear barrel is amazing.
