i missed friday, but i went with elaine on saturday. it was nice to see richard and barbara binder, ron and robyn zorn, paul errano, david issacson, mike bloom, terry brack, tim daly and others who i have unintentionally left out. i got a morrison lever fill in chased hard rubber, a waterman eyedropper, a sheaffer--with a triumph nib, and.....
I WON THE CLASSIC LEGEND PROTOTYPE, TOURMALINE FIRE, FOUNTAIN PEN!! IT IS GORGEOUS!!!
THANKS TERRY, MIKE, BARBARA AND RICHARD BINDER FOR MAKING THIS SUCH A WONDERFUL SHOW EXPERIENCE!
Congratulations on your new pen! I am actually thinking about buying one of the Legend prototype colors, and the tourmaline fire is one that has caught my eye (mainly because it is green, and I like green pens). My question though, my seem a bit odd. What kind of green is it? Is it masculine, feminine, neutral? I cannot tell from the website. I know that I have seen pens online and in catalogues that look great, but in person, all I can think about is the fact that it is a "girl's pen." The Levenger True Writer Kyoto comes to mind. It looks fine in the catalogue, but in person, it is clearly a female pen. So, before I bought the tourmaline fire pen, I just thought I would ask an owner about it. I hope you understand where I am coming from with this question.
